After months of planning our first event for the #rideforplym was finally upon us. The stage was set for our Quiz Night.
The response and support leading up to the event was absolutely fantastic, so much so I had to re-negotiate how many people we could fit into the Function Room we had booked!!! 65 tickets sold, amazing?
The questions were ready, these became the only nagging doubt I had; Are they too easy? Are they too hard? Are there too many? Sod it, lets find out!!!!
I can honestly say to my mind everything went without a hitch?
The reason for this simple process was down to the extra support from 3 groups of people;
Massive thanks to Gareth, Nina and the whole team at The George Inn for their support on the night, and for the use of the Function Room.
Massive thanks also, to Julie and the guys at Firebird for suppling the prizes for the Quiz.
Finally, massive thanks to Adrian and James at Nub Sound for the hire of the PA Equipment.
I am pleased to announce the evening raised £335 for the #rideforplym charity fund, which will only benefit the Plym Neuro Rehab Unit in the future.
The biggest thanks though is reserved for all the Quizzers who came along, without all of you none of this would have been possible.
Congratulation to Team GG who were the winners on the night and took home the cash prize.
