So, today I’ve been able to complete something I’ve had planned for a while. I’ve took sometime away from the bike(ish), to catch-up with some of the wonderful people who have become Partners of the #rideforplym.
First stop; The Turtley Cornmill.
We’ve been going to Turtley Cornmill and their sister establishment The Bridge at Mountbatten for a number of years now. I can honestly say they are simply faultless. The food, service and locations are fantastic.
When I was considering who I was going to approach for the #rideforplym, these guys were at the top of my list. They were also one of the first people to commit to becoming a #rideforplym Partner.
A massive thanks to Sam, Leslie and the Teams at Turtley and The Bridge for their help and support.
Second stop; Velo-Smith
I’ve been going to Velo-Smith now for around 4 years now and it was a big help when David relocated closer to where I live, hasn’t helped the bank balance though!!!! His assistance with getting my Chapter 2 Tere built, by completing jobs I didn’t have the tools for was great. He also matched all the big online retailer’s prices for the components I wanted. This just goes to show, we should still support our local businesses and not just the big players?
David’s help with my bike fitting has been invaluable, as have all the little training tips he’s passed my way when we’ve been out riding.
David is also forming part of Team ManOnAPushBike, and is going to cover all 185 miles of the #rideforplym with me.
Chapeau Mr Velo-Smith.
Stay tuned in the coming weeks for Partnership – Part 2.
